Organizational Projects

Immersive, site-specific works—composed for your mission, revealed through place, and made to resonate.

We collaborate with land trusts, foundations, and conservation organizations to create original music that gives emotional form to place. Each commission is a ritual of reflection, anchored in your mission and remembered by those you serve.

Why Organizations Commission Us

  • Honor a protected landscape or milestone

  • Deepen donor connection through shared experience

  • Create a living, enduring artifact rooted in place

  • Offer audiences something truly new

The Process

I | Listen

We begin in dialogue, learning about your site, story, and goals.

II | Compose

A work is composed in response to that place and purpose.

III | Unveil

The music is premiered on-site or in a ceremony. A bound score becomes a lasting artifact.

Investment and Scope

Typical commissions start at $4,000–6,000.
Includes: 7–10 minute work for string quartet (or similar), site visit (when feasible), live on-site premiere, and hand-bound score.

Musician fees and travel are additional, estimated early (typically $2,000–3,000 for small ensembles).

Expanded commissions—longer works, custom instrumentation, or larger events—generally range from $10,000–25,000+.

For smaller budgets, we can explore solo works or local musician coordination.
